According to my resource teacher, teaching requires both art and science because they both play a role on each other, and if a teacher only demonstrates one of these types of teaching, their classroom will most likely be very boring.
Mrs. Santos said that, teaching is fun if you use your imagination to put up an interesting discussion. Teaching should not only on the cognitive level but it should also touch the hearts of the students.
Teaching as an art demonstrates ways in which the teacher may use creative ways to present the material so that the lesson will be fun and interesting for the students. Ms. Charmaine Santos used hands-on activities related to the topics being covered. In the past five years, she always used visual aids with so much creativity on it. Teaching as an art requires you to become creative and be innovative. Your materials should catch the interest of the students and at the same time it should be innovative.
